1st Communion Sponsor Form
In order to be sponsor a person must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must be baptized, confirmed and received First Communion
  • If married, they must have been married by thte Catholic Church (Proof is required)
  • In accordance to the Cannon Law, if the sponsor is single, they should not be living with anyone
    from the opposite or same sex
  • The sponsor cannot be a parent or spouse of the candidate
  • The person should be a strong role model and support the candidate by attending Mass regularly
    and by being active in some way in the Church
